"Foster is a joy. Our directors and actors have found him to be a wonderful dialect and vocal coach who is easy to work with and incredibly supportive. As an artistic director, I could not be happier."
Barbara Brooks, Artistic Director of the Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company
"Foster’s dialect coaching is astonishingly effective. His teaching method, dialect repertoire, and overall dedication to excellence set him apart as one of the top dialect coaches in the Twin Cities."
Karen Bix, Actress
"Foster not only conducted a United Nations of dialects for "Appointment With Death" (American, British, Scottish, Arab, French and Welsh), he gave the actors many tools and tricks to make the dialects come alive. But the most important thing he gave them was confidence."
John Gaspard, Director
"Foster was the dialect coach for two runs of Chain Reaction Theatre Project's production of "SEVEN". The job required him to teach each of the seven actors seven different dialects from the countries of Northern Ireland, Russia, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Guatemala and Cambodia, including how to change quickly from one dialect to the next. For the second run, he only had three weeks to get four new actors up-to-speed. In each case, the actors got so good at their dialects, that we actually had to ask them to dial it back in order to be understood by the audience. At the talk back discussions that followed each performance, the first comments made by the audience were always about how the dialects were so good and the actors so believable that the audience thought the actors were actually from the seven above-mentioned countries. In addition to doing a great job of coaching, Foster was a delight to work with, very efficient, dependable, reliable and punctual. I am looking forward to the time when we can work together again!"
